Apple’s recently released iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus phones sport A9 chip, which brings along the improved performance when compared to the predecessors. The new A9 chipset of the company has recently become official and we already got the first rumor for its successor, A10. As per an official source from China, the A10 chipset is being manufactured for the Apple’s phones which will be released in 2016.
With this chip, the Cupertino’s giant is seriously focusing on the multi-threading for the first time ever and has also started designing the mobile chipsets. We can expect this upcoming chip to have a hexa-core processor while until now Apple has went up to three cores only. This is the main reason for its chips running in multi-core compared to the Android competitors.
As per reports, the new A10 chip will be manufactured on either a 14 nm or 10 nm process. And the nect render you won’t believe but yes its manufacturing partner for this chipset could be Samsung. However, Apple has also ruled out TSMC and Intel for manufacturing its chipset.
