Sony Xperia SP

As per reports, Sony’s concept for Android will allow 10,000 owners of Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact to beta test new Android Marshmallow version. This new software is made on the basis of feedback Sony received from the initiative which was launched earlier this year. Those who want to try it out can check in with the Concept Sign-up application. The initiative is on the basis of first come, first serve basis so there is an element of urgency.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow

This test is limited to just the selected European countries such as Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Ireland or Germany. If you have signed up for the test and got selected, you will get notification in the next few weeks. And the software will start rolling out soon after that.

Sony has plans to update the complete Z3 family including the Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet and several other devices to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
