According to a new research from Ofcom, smartphones are being used mostly by people in UK to get online. The regulator says that 33% of the Brits preferred to use their smartphone in order to access internet in the year 2014. While on the other hand just 30% people used traditional laptops for connecting to web services.
It is also found via the same research that Brits took around 1.2 billion selfie’s in 2014. About 31% of the nation admitted that they clicked a picture of themselves last year. Thus, it appears that the smartphones are quickly replacing digital cameras, with 60% of the adults revealing that they use their phone as a primary way to click pictures.
