HTC is looking forward to announce a new device on October 20, which is the next generation flagship One A9. This smartphone is already programmed on a few occasions, but now we get a more detailed look at it, through the dummy unit.
The leaked shots which are out as the courtesy of @OnLeaks, shows the One A9 phone from multiple angles. From the previous leaks, HTC’s One A9 came out to be the iPhone 6 lookalike. There is an enormous bottom bezel, the Back/Home/Task switcher buttons have moved to the display.
The chin has now moved to accommodate the fingerprint sensor. There are contrasting antenna bands on the back of this handset, a necessary eye-sore on metal built smartphones. The camera lens is sticking out by a millimeter, but its dead center, so Apple’s legal department can remain at rest.
There is a microUSB 2.0 port (no Type-C), which is the similar one that is available with the internal design. Other than the port, there is a 3.5 mm jack, mic pinhole and speaker grille. A microSD tray is embedded next to the SIM card on the left side, so it’s nice to see that the HTC is turning back on storage expansion.
