Previously, there were reports that Xiaomi is considering entering the US smartphone market, another phone from the maker is certified by Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Xiaomi’s Redmi 2 Pro will come powered by Snapdragon 410 chipset with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The phone has a 4.7 inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. For connectivity, the phone has a 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, 4G LTE and Bluetooth 4.0.
Back in August, the company launched its first made-in-India smartphone, Redmi 2 Prime, which has similar specifications as Redmi 2 Pro. This device carries a price tag of about $110. Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro certified by the US agency is basically a GSM850/1900 phone offering support for LTE bands 2, 4 and 7.
