Gionee S5.1 Pro was officially announced two months ago with a 5 inch AMOLED display which has 720 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by MT6753 chip and is expected to hit the shelves later this month. However, as per reports Gionee is now introducing a bigger flavor for the smartphone to keep the company on those shelves.
The upcoming Elife S Plus is a bigger version of the S5.1 Pro with 5.5 inch AMOLED display having 720 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 3. It has the same MT6753 chipset with an octa core processor revolving with 1.3 GHz speeds. The phone has Cortex A53 processor, Matli T720 graphics and 3GB RAM.
There is a 13MP primary snapper and 5MP front facing camera to take better quality pictures. The phone is provided with 16GB expandable storage, LTE connectivity with dual SIM and 3,150 mAh battery backup. It also has the USB Type C port which is becoming quite popular with smartphones these days. This handset is running in Android Lollipop with Gionee’s latest Amigo launcher on top. We can also expect it to feature Face Unlock option and Immersion Touch.
