Samsung made its new flip phone, W2016 official in China today. The phone is already seen passing through TENAA and it will not bear the Galaxy Golden 3 name which was anticipated previously.
The new W2016 smartphone is now listed on the official China website of the company, but the specs are not listed properly there. So, when it comes to the handsets innards we will be required to rely on the data from TENAA.
Samsung’s newly launched flip phone has 3.9 inch Super AMOLED touchscreens with 1,280 x 768 pixels resolution. There is a 16MP primary snapper with LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter. The phone comes packed with an Exynos 7420 SoC at the helm. It has an internal storage of 64GB and 3GB RAM for faster processing.
The Korean giant has packed this phone with 4G+, dual SIM support and 2,000 mAh battery backup. It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop and has support for both fast charging and wireless charging. Just like, the top line of smartphones of 2015 of the company, the W2016 is built with only metal and glass.
It has been kept 15.1 mm thick and comes with a weight of 204 grams. There are two color options available with the customers i.e. grey and gold. Currently, the phone is available only in China and for China Mobile.
