Recently, there was an announcement by Samsung and Google that they will issue monthly security updates for their devices after ‘stagefright’ was discovered. Then, Motorola also confirmed security patches for some of its new handsets. Now, there are reports that LG might also join them soon.
A spokesperson from the company confirmed that they will be providing security updates on monthly basis, which carriers will release to the users immediately. An employee from Google also confirmed this at the security conference of Black Hat 2015.
