Sony Xperia Z3v is now discontinued at Verizon

Recently, Verizon wireless stopped selling its Xperia Z3v handset which it launched about 10 months ago. According to some customers, it was confirmed by the carrier that Z3v phone has been discontinued. However, the Sony fans should not be upset with this as a new Xperia phone, Z4v, will soon be released.

Sony announced this handset in June as an exclusive device to Verizon. The phone gets a Qua HD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. This phone is based on the Xperia Z3+/Z4 and is water resistant. It runs on an octa core Snapdragon 810 processor. Sony’s Xperia Z4v is thicker than the Z3+/Z4 and has a slightly different design.

Still there is no confirmation on the launch date for this device. However, we can expect this smartphone to be released in this summer only.
