Motorola Moto G (3rd Generation) starts Android Marshmallow update

Motorola has now started rolling out the Android Marshmallow update for Moto G3 as well. It is one of the best selling smartphone of the company ever and was launched in July. And as is usual for the G line it pairs a decent price with decent specs.

Motorola Update

As per reports, the update is rolling out over-the-air in the US and Canada. Currently, only for handsets purchases on an unlocked and SIM free version the update is available. But the update is bound to spread to other version of this handset very soon.

You can currently download a 2GB version via Wi-Fi and you will be on a software version 24.11.25.en.US. The update brings along the security patches from Google that are created upto 1st December. It contains almost everything that is new to Android 6.0 including Now on Tap and the revamped permissions systems.
