When other manufacturers have edged towards the quad HD resolution, Sony is still using its 1080 pixels. Now, there are some clues revealing that Sony is about to bring a change with the Xperia Z5+. The company is expected to roll out a new phone with a larger display than the Xperia Z3+/Z4 sometime later this year. We can expect this handset to be the first one to come packed with a 4K display.
UAProf for the yet to be announced phones including Sony E68XX, E6833, E6853, E6883 reveals a resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution. As the upcoming device might be a phablet so the display will be atleast 5.5 inches with a pixel density of 801 ppi. According to the reports from UAProf, Sony’s next smartphone indicates the Snapdragon 810 chipset drafted in the Xperia Z3+ and Z4.
Also, the maker will soon introduce an exclusive version with Verizon i.e. Xperia Z4v, with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
