Microsoft Lumia 850 is a metal clad handset, expected to be a svelte handset. It has 6.92 mm dimensional measurement, a metal frame and is sported by a 5.7 inch FHD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It was nicknamed “Honjo”, and was said to be powered by a Snapdragon 617 chip under the hood with an octa core processor and Adreno 405 GPU. Also, an infrared scanner was spotted on the front of this phone.
Then, there were photographs from China indicating that there is no infrared scanner available on this handset but a front facing camera only. There were reports back in December revealing that there is a possibility that Microsoft might cancel the Lumia 850 smartphone. And now this appears to be the case. As per the latest reports, Microsoft will not release the Lumia 850 phone but instead will roll out Lumia 650XL. However, it’s getting us a bit confused as Microsoft also said that Lumia 650 might be the last Lumia phone from the company.
Microsoft’s Lumia 650 XL will get a 5.4 inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and will come powered by a Snapdragon 210 chip with quad cores and Adreno 304 chip.
We should put our complete believe on this news because it’s not been much time that a video was leaked as the courtesy of @OnLeaks showing this phone.
