Motorola Starts rolling out Moto G (2nd Gen) Marshmallow update

Android Marshmallow

The second generation Motorola Moto G has started releasing its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update which results in hitting both 3G and LTE-enabled variants in India.

The release comes few weeks after the company has started soak testing the update in India. This test was also launched in Brazil at the same time but no one yet knows about the public release there.

The update comes with the Marshmallow goodies, including Doze, redesigned app permissions and Google Now on Tap. Motorola has already posted Marshmallow update release notes for the Moto G 2014 on its Indi support website. Motorola already rolled out the Marshmallow update for its Moto G3 handset in US and Canada in December last year.
