Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge phone is to officially unveiled in just two days now. The Galaxy S7 Edge is the larger of the two members being unveiled at the Unpacked event on 21st February and will get a 5.5 inch curved display. While on the other hand the regular Samsung Galaxy S7 handset will feature a 5.1 inch flat screen.
While some of the details about these upcoming handsets are already known, we still have some doubts whether the new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will feature a USB Type C, micro USB port and new reversible port for synchronizing and charging. Now, the latest image of this smartphone shows that it will get the old micro USB port again and not the USB Type C.
However, this is not a big deal for many but it will still disappoint those users who are waiting to see the contemporary USB Type C standard. With this contemporary USB Type C port it would be quite easier to plug in the phone to charge it using a reversible connector. But the Type C port is also the standard of the future with a support for rapid charging and also takes a little space on the circuit board.
Well, everything will be clear once the Korean giant unveils its Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones on 21s February. Both these handsets are expected to run on the Snapdragon 820 chip which is the latest from Qualcomm and is quite powerful than its predecessors. This has a 12MP Britcell camera with some huge improvements to click good quality shots in low light. The Galaxy S7 will feature a 3,000 mAh battery while the S7 Edge will get a 3,600 mAh battery respectively.
