According to a spokesperson from O2 UK, Samsung Galaxy S7 will be equipped with the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset and not the more powerful Exynos 8890 chip. There were some reports last week from an unnamed spokesperson from the Korean giant claiming that the Galaxy S7 phones will get Qualcomm processor in US, China and Japan. Also, there were reports that this handset will be powered by Exynos 8890 chip in Blighty.
However, there are now reports that Samsung S7 will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and not its own Exynos processor. The reports have come out from a social media representative of O2, ChrisK who claims that UK model of this smartphone will get less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip.
We can’t be sure as different reports have come out of the Samsung representative in the last few days. Also, we were expecting S7 to come packed with the Exynos chip so we still can’t believe that this handset will be less powerful in UK in comparison to other countries including China, US, and Japan.
