As per reports, a new feature is added to the Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge that enables the users to share Wi-Fi connection with another mobile device It’s reported that other smartphones can share a mobile data connection with the help of Wi-Fi tethering. Both these devices will act as a Wi-Fi extender or repeater and will share a Wi-Fi signal with another laptop, phone, tablet or PC in the range.
Currently, this feature is available only on the Samsung S7 and S7 Edge phones. But it will be available for other models as well once the Korean giant sends out a software update to enable this feature for other smartphones. Also, in case you want to share your mobile data signal with another device then all you need to do is disable the Wi-Fi sharing by going to the Setting option and then Mobile hotspot and Tethering.
This new feature will come to you only if you are connected to a Wi-Fi signal and want to share you signal with some other mobile device in your range but you can’t remember the password of your network. With the Wi-Fi sharing ability enabled on your smartphone you can easily provide a free connection to other devices as well.
Both these smartphones are now available on sale in many countries in Europe like UK, Germany and many more. However, if you still want to get your hands-on the predecessor then you can also buy it by checking the Samsung S7 UK offers from various retailers.
