Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge went on sale just a week ago and now both the phones have started receiving Android security update. Currently, only T-Mobile has started rolling out this update but it will soon be pushed to the phones by Verizon. Most probably, Verizon will start releasing this new Android security update to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge handsets on 18th March.
T-Mobile doesn’t reveal that the update released is explicitly the March security update of Android but on the other hand Verizon’s page clearly mentions that this update will include “the most upto date security patch for Android.”
As per reports, the T-Mobile update carries a build number of UVS2APB8, while on the other hand Verizon will bring this new update with a build number VRS2APB4.
