Samsung Galaxy S7

Previously, the users of Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones were allowed to disable the backlighting behavior of the capacitive keys. But now with the trimming of the TouchWiz this ability suffered and the users are not allowed to disable it.

However, there is an easy way to modify the backlighting of the said keys with the help of a third party application. This method works with most of the Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, and Note 5 phones.

Step 1: First of all, go to the Google Play Store and download the Galaxy Button Lights. This is a nifty free application which does what Samsung wants to do.

Step 2: Once you open this app, you will be greeted by a set of self-explanatory options. However, you should make sure that you press the button at the bottom to apply the changes after you are ready.

Step 3: Now, you can easily turn off all the backlighting.
