AnTuTu, the popular synthetic benchmark for mobile gear has now went cross platform and is releasing quarterly statistics from millions of the handsets that go through its benchmarking paces each day. We saw in 2015 that the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus phones from Apple with their A9 chipset beat the other manufacturers by a large margin. But now the recent reports reveal that the benchmark results have now been rearranged.
Samsung recently introduced the powerful Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 for its Galaxy S7 phone and the chipsets are now occupying he top positions in the Q1 benchmark results of AnTuTu. You might think that it’s the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones that have made their way to the top of the benchmark list but these two handsets are actually getting placed at the second position. On the other hand, the best performer in the power performance is the Xiaomi’s new Mi 5 phone.
Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a 5 inch display with 1080 pixels resolution, which will explain it well why it beats the Quad HD equipped S7 phone. Third place on the list is acquired by Apple’s A9 chipset in iPhone 6S smartphone.
