As per reports, Apple’s iPhone 7 will replace its physical home button with a finger sensitive virtual home button embedded with screen. This will mean that you will not be required to push the physical home button but will instead touch your finger or thumb to activate it. It is reported that the entire front portion of the next generation iPhone will be replaced by the screen.
However, we have already heard this rumor before but it’s now confirmed by some sources from DigiTimes. There are also reports that the next generation flagship phone of the Canadian giant will be made dust proof and water proof, just like the Galaxy S7 from Samsung.
The protruding camera lens packed on the back of the iPhone 6S could be flattened. Thus, the upcoming phone will combine with the touch sensitive home button. Also, the reports reveal that the front and back of this handset will be completely flush.
We also expect the iPhone 7 to be the slimmest iPhone yet, which will be quite interesting to see. It will come packed with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. For connectivity, there will be Bluetooth and Lightning port. This smartphone will be announced in September alongside the Apple Watch.
