Sony Xperia X Performance might get rolled out in UK as well

Sony revealed previously that it will not sell the new Xperia X Performance smartphone in UK or Germany. The company did not explain the reason behind this move in a reasonable manner but the reason for any kind of decision does not matter anyways.

Now, there are reports that the Xperia X Performance smartphone will also be sold in UK, once it gets launched in July. Here, we are not talking about the grey market imports but you will be able to grab a Xperia X Performance that made it to the UK through official channels.

This information comes straight from the Japanese giant, which stated this to Recombu. The manufacturer said that “The Xperia X Performance was published on the Sony Mobile GB website in error and will not be able to buy SIM free from our Sony E-Shop. It may however be available in the UK in limited numbers via select distribution partners”.

This shows that you won’t be purchasing your Xperia X Performance straight from the UK online store of Sony. However, if you are lucky then the Japanese giant will ship some units of this smartphone to its certain retail partners. Currently, we don’t know the exact names of the sellers but this gives a hope that the manufacturer could be made available in UK.

As far the pricing of this phone is concerned, it will be priced at €699 in the Eurozone, which currently converts to £550. It is reported that this handset will be released in the Europe continent during the first week of July. Other two Xperia phones, Xperia X and Xperia XA were made available for pre-order around two months ago.
