Recently, a set of photos of Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has been leaked out online, unveiling the key features as well as the design components of the new mobile phone made for rough outdoor utilization.
It is said that SamsungViet, a Vietnamese tech blog leaked these photos of Galaxy S7 Active. The prime draw back revealed by these images is that a camouflage design will be featured by the Galaxy S7 Active. This design contains a rubber edge which expands to the device’s four corners. The back of the mobile phone shows its camera with the flash beside it, below the lens you’ll find the AT&T logo and at the bottom of the handset it shows the name Galaxy S7 Active.
Not only a physical home button at the bottom bezel’s center is featured by the front, but also two other physical buttons are featured on either side. The button featured on the left is the recent button and the right one is the back button. Nothing new is featured by the top bezel with a front-facing camera, the Samsung logo and a speaker grille.
IP68 waterproof and dustproof certification is featured by the Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7, the Smartphones cousins. It is also rumoured that this particular certification will also come with the Galaxy S7. A polycarbonate casing is included by the other rumours, which meets the military standards and makes the phone shockproof as well. Another rumour has come out that the handset has the capacity of withstanding high altitude and extreme temperatures.
In addition, the similar specifications as that of its Smartphones cousins will be featured by the Galaxy S7 Active. These specifications include 4GB of RAM (Random Access Memory) and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. Nevertheless, it is said that the phone is made more outdoors-friendly as it comes with a longer battery life.
Except the longer battery life, the same specifications are featured by the Galaxy S6 Active, the predecessor of S7 Active as the flagships of Samsung are at the time. This mobile handset was just introduced in the United States and at the back of the leaked pictures the AT&T branding recommends that the forthcoming Samsung handset S7 Active will be available just in the United States too.
