Samsung has released its new Galaxy Note 5 phablet in Taiwan while the phone will not be launched in many bigger markets before 21st August. This handset was made available in Taiwan yesterday i.e 15th August. Taiwanese customers can purchase Samsung Note 5 32 GB model for about $740, while the 64 GB phone is available for around $820.
According to the reports, Taiwan is launching the Galaxy Note 5 phone in Taiwan first because the Note series of the company is very popular there. Around 2 million units of Note devices have been sold in Taiwan since the first model was released in 2011. However, this is not a huge record on a global scale but as Taiwan is a small country with 23 million population it is quite impressive number.
