Meizu made its MX6 smartphone official today at an event which was held in Beijing. We saw this smartphone being leaked a number of times in the past few weeks. So, we already knew a lot about this handset but now the specifications are now confirmed.
The Chinese manufacturer has provided this phone with a metal unibody which is about 7.25 mm thick . It uses the refined antenna bands, which we have also seen on the Meizu’s Pro 6 phone. As per source, this upcoming phone will get a 5.5 inch sharp made display with 1080 pixels resolution. It will be covered with a 2.5D glass to boost its looks.
Meizu’s new phone comes powered with Helio X20 chipset and a deca core processor. The processor will be a 2x A72 @2.3 GHz, 4x A53 @2.0 GHz and 4x A53 @1.4GHz. This handset will get Mali T 880 MP4 graphics processor and 4 GB RAM. On the other hand, the Pro 6 from the manufacturer used Helio X25 chipset, which is slightly faster in comparison to the A72 cores and possessed a tad higher clock on the graphics processor.
It primary snapper is about 12MP, Sony IMX386 ½.9” type sensor with f/2.0 lens, phase detection AF and a dual tine flash. This is first ever smartphone from the manufacturer to come packed with this sensor. Meizu says that the quality of this phone is almost similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7 series. The MX6 comes with 32 GB storage capacity and a 5 MP selfie shooter. It has been provided with a dual SIM support, LTE Cat 6 connectivity. It sports a 3,600 mAh battery which has the capacity of fast 24 watt charging.
Finally, the new phone from the Chinese maker runs on the latest Flyme with a Marshmalllow core. It is reported that this handset will be made available in gray, silver and gold color options. This handset will be rolled out first in Chinese market, where it will be priced at CNY 1,999. The registration process is now open and the phone will be available for sale starting 30th July.
It is reported that this smartphone will also offer a Loop Jacket accessory, which is a flip case with a circular viewfinder for CNY 99. A special LifeMe Bluetooth speaker will also be made available on sale for CNY 399.
