As per the latest reports, Apple’s iPhone 7 will now get a special headphone adaptor, which allows the users to plug in the existing earbuds and cans into the updated smartphone. According to the analysts at Deutsche bank Apple will bundle a dongle with its upcoming smartphone rather than offering a pair of its ear pods with a Lightning connector.

It is confirmed by the recent leaks which showed off the traditional white headphones of Apple with an attachment fitting into the charging port. Now, it appears that Apple will provide its upcoming iPhone 7 handset with the standard 3.5 mm headphone port. And the company will not force its users to attach headphones to its iPhone 7 handset via Lightning Connector.

As per sources, this change is being made in order to allow a second speaker on this phone. This will allow Apple to make the upcoming iPhone 7 handset slightly slimmer than the predecessor. With this the Cupertino’s giant will also offer a large battery to this new handset. Apple is all set to unveil its iPhone lineup in the week starting 12th September.
