Samsung might release Galaxy Note 7 in Europe on 16th August now

Samsung is already set to launch its upcoming Galaxy Note 7  and Galaxy Note 7 Edge smartphones at an event taking place on 2nd August. We pretty much know almost everything about what is going to happen at this launch event on the above-mentioned date. However, we had no clue till now that when exactly we will be able to purchase this phone. Now, the reports reveal that the availability date might depend on the location.

There was a report a few days ago that Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 will go on sale on the same day of its announcement. However, a report now says that it might be valid for the home country of the manufacturer, South Korea only.

On the other hand, there are reports that in Europe this smartphone will be rolled out on 16th August. According to a new rumor from the country, the Galaxy Note 7 phone will atleast be available in Netherlands by 16th August. If this is real, then we can also expect many other European countries to receive this smartphone on the same day. However, the reports reveal that only the silver and black color options will be made available to the users from day one. While the gold and blue color options for this handset will take some more time to get released.

Samsung has provided the Galaxy Note 7 handset with a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED Touchscreen display, with curved edges. There is a 12 MP Dual Pixel back camera and 5 MP front facing camera for clicking good quality selfie images. This phone measures 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm dimensionally. It has been powered by the Exynos 8893 chipset or Snapdragon 821 and has been provided with 4GB RAM for faster processing. Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 phone sports 3,500 mAh battery which has the capacity to last for long hours.
