As per reports, the hardware of Lenovo’s upcoming smartphone being called “Turbo” has just passed through the Geekbench benchmarks. But because Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo is already launched in India earlier this year, so we can expect this handset to be the rumored Lenovo Vibe P2.
Lenovo’s previously released Vibe P1 phone must have left you wondering what does the term “Turbo” used by the company means. Also, if we consider the specifications of the base Vibe P1 phone which was launched last year, it is almost identical to the Vibe P1 Turbo. Now, the reports reveal that the Chinese manufacturer is truly turbo charging the Vibe P family as it finalizes the Vibe P2 name for its smartphone for the time being. The manufacturer has not yet given any official indication that the smartphone exists and currently the placeholder is the only thing we have got for now.
According to the Geekbench benchmarks, Lenovo’s Vibe P2 phone will run on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 that comes clocked at 2.02 Ghz clock speed and 4GB RAM. This is a step up from the Snapdragon 615 used by both the Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe P1 Turbo smartphones.
Also, if this smartphone is the successor to the Lenovo Vibe P1 then you can expect it to come powered by a sound battery. The Vibe p1 and P1 Turbo are packed by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 2.0. This new smartphone sports 5.5 inch Full HD display with better viewing angles and has been provided with a fingerprint scanner as well. There is a 13MP back camera and a 5 MP front facing snapper for clicking selfie images. The RAM distinguishes the twins with the Turbo offering a gig more than the 2GB RAM of the base model.
