Unknown Sony Xperia phone got certified by FCC

As per the recent reports, an unknown Sony Xperia handset has been certified by FCC. This device is known with its model number for now, which is Sony14784Z or is also referred by its code name Kugo. Currently, there is not much information available about this smartphone but just that it will come with a 2,700 mAh battery, which is said to power the unit.

We are expecting this smartphone to be unveiled during the media event of the company which is to take place on 1st September in Berlin at IFC. Sony could introduce a brand new flagship phone at the event, with a model number of Xperia F8331. It is reported that this upcoming smartphone does not look like the current Xperia X and older Xperia Z models.

This handset is rumored to offer 4K video recording using both the front and back cameras. We can also expect this phone to get a Type C USB port and features a display carrying a 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. As for Kugo, it has already passed Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications.

As per the latest rumors, this smartphone will come with a 5.2 inch display with quality viewing angles. It will come powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset on the board and 4GB RAM for faster processing speed. It is also expected that this upcoming phone from the Japanese giant will sport NFC connectivity. As we are approaching nearer to 1st September, we are hearing more about these two models.
