Apple is set to announce the upcoming iPhone event sometime later this month. Traditionally, this event takes place in the month of September. There were some earlier rumors pointing to 9th September as the date for launching the new iPhone device. It is reported that this handset will come to stores for sale on 16th September.
However, there are reports that the carriers have some different plan for this handset. A newly leaked schedule from a US retailer shows merchandising reset hours and two dates listed are 9th September and 23rd September. A source has speculated that both the 16th September and 23rd September release dates are possible for this smartphone, provided that pre-orders start on 9th September.
Last year, iPhone 6S of the Cupertino’s giant was launched on 25th September, but the pre-orders commence on 12th September. Ultimately, these dates are nothing but a speculation at this point as Apple has still not revealed any official date for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus handsets.
