Over the past few months, we have seen numerous evidences revealing that a sequel to Samsung Galaxy Folder is under works. Previously, this smartphone was certified by GFXBench benchmarking website, which revealed some of its specifications. Then there were reports that this handset is certified by TENAA, which has confirmed it existence. Just a few days back, a couple of promotional images for this phone appeared online. Now, a bunch of high resolution photographs have also been leaked out of China.
With promo graphics and hands-on photos which are doing the rounds these days, it is not so long that Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 will become official soon. Samsung has packed this phone with a 3.8-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 with 1.4 GHz clock speed and 2 GB RAM. There is an internal storage of 16GB, which can be further expanded with the help of SD card slot.
This smartphone will get an 8MP primary camera which can click better quality pictures in low light conditions. It has been provided with 5MP front facing camera for clicking selfie images. This device will be kept afloat courtesy of 2,000 mAh battery. It will run on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.
As far the cost is concerned, the last version of this smartphone was launched for a price of $250 USD, so it is expected that the new model will arrive the market at the same price.
