Motorola’s Moto X Play which was unveiled officially last month is an upper mid-range phone with a huge battery backup. According to the reports, this phone will be offered by the company everywhere else than in US.
Starting today, the smartphone is now available to order in two countries namely UK and Germany. In both the countries, you are provided with an option to customize your Moto X Play in whatever way you want it to be.
This handset is priced in UK at £279 and around €379 in Germany. However, certain features on the phone cost more for example, if you opt for 32 GB version instead of the 16 GB you will be required to pay an additional £40 or €50.
Motorola Moto X Play will start shipping in UK from August 26th while on the other hand the phone will be available in Germany starting 27th August. This new phone is packed with a 5.5 inch display with 1080 pixels resolution. There is a 21 MP rear camera with dual tone dual LED flash and a 5 MP front facing camera.
Motorola has packed it with a Snapdragon 615 SoC chipset with an octa core processor cloaked at 1.7 GHz speed. This smartphone comes with an in-built security patch for fighting the stagefright issue detected in Android. It runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with 2 GB RAM and supports microSD card. This phone comes with 4G LTE connectivity along with Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS, NFS, Wi-Fi and 3630 mAh battery backup.
