iPhone 7 Plus vs. Google Pixel XL: Which Smartphone is the Winner?

Purchasing a new phone means you’ll choose inevitably between Android phones and iOS-powered phones. However, which tech company makes the better phone?
Both OS have some pros and cons. While the latest iPhone 7 Plus has come with updated features of iOS 10, Google’s Android has also more options to select from.
Google Pixel XL is the only phone to come directly with the very latest Android Nougat preinstalled. It’ll be available on 20th October.

Specifications & Hardware:
In terms of making powerful smartphones, Google is clearly the winner for its 2016 flagship smartphones.
Both the Google Pixel XL and iPhone 7 Plus feature 5.5-inch screens; however, the former’s resolution is 1440p, whereas the latter only manages 1080p. Similarly, the Pixel provides 4GB of RAM, whereas the iPhone sports 3GB of RAM.
Although both phones have a fingerprint scanner, Pixel has it round the back and iPhone has it on the front.
The iPhone 7 Plus has made a big deal by boasting Apple’s first ever dual-lens camera, while Google doesn’t pull ahead in this aspect. Pixel’s camera is definitely good, but in terms of taking lots of pictures, Apple is the winner.

Features & Usability:
Many features of the phones are same. For instance, both have voice-based virtual assistants – Siri and Google Now. Both help users use fingerprint scanners for paying for products.
In fact, apps are same also – Google Duo is quite same as FaceTime and some big social apps like Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp are available on both phones.
Dual-lens camera is the big feature of the iPhone 7 Plus, whereas the Pixel XL confirms Google’s developments in Artificial Intelligence with the Google Allo messaging application.
Unlike the iPhone 7 Plus, the Pixel XL has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
