Though the HTC 10 came with a redesign, reinvention of the brand, upgraded specs and new features, it still was not enough of a change. That’s not to say that it wasn’t a great creation, but it’s not quite the knockout it could have been. And so, HTC is gearing up and putting the pedal to the metal to release a new smartphone in 2017. It will be a strong punch against both Android and iOS-based strategies.
Things are not quite as clear as we had hoped for in case of the HTC 11. People are largely in the dark for now. The company has decided to skip on showing off its new flagship at the Mobile World Congress and directly release the piece before or afterwards instead. There has been no specific HTC 11 release date yet as no one has leaked it yet. But, if we take prior releases in mind, then it can be seen that it is a clear pattern that HTC rolls out its first-end top phones in the first two quarters of the year.
As far HTC 11 features are concerned, the new smartphone will sport everything you would expect in the area. In addition to this, as per the leaked video by Evan Blass HTC 11 apps can be launched by just scrolling and lightly touching the side of the 5.5-inch device. It comes with a great point-and-shoot camera, sticking with 12mp back camera and 8mp front camera. It would use Qualcomm’s best available mobile chip along with the 10nm Snapdragon 835 with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. It is even said to get 256GB of storage and a larger battery at 3,700mAh up from 3,000mAh.
So, the HTC 11 will be a bench-marking phone for all its other rival phones with the Snapdragon 835 processor.
