Apple recently found that some of the iPhone 6 devices sold by it from September 2014 till January 2015 contain a faulty in-built iSight camera. There is a bad component in the camera of these phones which results in blurry pictures. So, the company has decided to provide free camera replacement to the iPhone 6 units with small range of serial numbers.
Those who are affected can visit the special support page from the Cupertino’s giant for more details. Your iPhone device needs to take blurry pictures with the rear camera if you want to qualify for the camera replacement. Also, the handset must fall within a specific serial number range. There is a box in the support page where you can type the serial number of your device to see if it qualifies. Or else, to find the serial number of your iPhone 6 Plus go to the Settings > General > About.
If your iPhone device falls in the serial numbers Apple is seeking then just visit the nearest Apple repair center or the closest Apple store.
