As per reports, the Kernel source for the OnePlus 2 smartphone is now available to download. This news came out via twitter when Carl Pei, who is the co-founder of the Chinese company, tweeted alongside a Github link of the kernel.
The experts say that it will now become easier for the developers to create custom ROM’s for its flagship killer with the kernel source being freely available. The successor of the OnePlus one runs on the latest Android 5.1 open source.
One Plus 2 received its first ever OTA update a couple of days ago. It includes a patch for stagefright and improved battery performance as well.
