A few days ago, we reported that Samsung might include a new line of alphabet in its branding O. The rumors revealed that the Korean giant might make a debut with two devices namely Galaxy O5 and Galaxy O7. Now, leaks show that these two names are also dropped by Samsung who is opting for even more confusing names Galaxy Grand On and Galaxy Mega On instead.
A new rumor has arrived which puts some light on the specifications of these handsets. First, the Galaxy Mega On which comes with model number SM-600 will get a 5.5 inch touchscreen display with 720 pixels resolution. There will be a 13 MP primary camera and a 5 MP back snapper. This smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with quad cores. The phone will get an 8 GB internal storage which can be expanded with a microSD card. Samsung has also added a 1.5 GB RAM and 3,000 mAh battery backup.
As per leaks, the dimensions of this smartphone are set to 151.8 x 77.5 x 8.2 mm with 145 grams weight. It will run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop and has already been certified Bluetooth SIG. On the other hand, the Galaxy Grand On will get a 5 inch display with 720 pixels resolution. This smartphone will feature an 8 MP rear snapper, a 5 MP front facing camera, the Exynos 3475 chip with 1 GB RAM and 1.3 GHz clock speeds. There will be 8 GB of expandable storage capacity and a 2,600 mAh battery. It will also run on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Samsung also revealed that these handsets might be VR centric designed with the Oculus Rift.
