According to the reports, Google is going to release some new Nexus smartphones this year. We can expect these phones to be released by the end of September. We have been experiencing rumors about this over past few months, with LG and Huawei being the manufacturers of the devices. While Huawei will take care of the phablet market, LG on the other hand is expected to release a sequel of Nexus 5 from 2013.
However, it is still unclear that this phone will be called Nexus 5 (2015) or something else. We don’t have much knowledge about its pricing but this smartphone is surely cheaper than the Motorola Nexus 6, based on the rumored specifications.
The upcoming Nexus phone supports a 5.2 inch display with 1080 pixels resolution. There is a 12.3 MP primary snapper and a 5 MP selfie camera in the front. This smartphone comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset along with 3 GB RAM. There will be a 32 GB internal storage capacity and 2,700 mAh battery backup. We can expect the new Nexus 5 (2015) to come in three color versions: black, white and blue.
Previously, we were talking about USB Type-C port which now will be USB 3.x or just USB 2.0. Also, the Snapdragon 808 chipset is not from Qualcomm’s current SoC flagship. But as there a number of issues surrounding the 810 and its heat generating abilities, this one might be a cooler choice.
