Google is rumored to be working with both the Huawei and LG on two new Nexus smartphones – a new Nexus 6 phablet from the Chinese manufacturer while on the other hand the Korean giant is working on the successor of its Nexus 5 (2013). These two handsets have been leaking so much lately that their existence is pretty much sure now.
We already reported that the official unveiling for both these handsets will take place on 29th September. But there was still no idea on when will the pre-orders for these devices start. Well a new rumor clears this aspect.
As per an unnamed source, Google will start taking pre-orders for the two Nexus devices starting 13th October this year. That is, exactly after two weeks after the Nexus phones will get official release. Unfortunately, the source was unable to provide any incidence on the shipment date for both these phones.
If we consider the history of the Nexus devices, the shipment started about 1 to 3 weeks after pre-orders were started. So, we can expect a similar kind of behavior from the upcoming Nexus devices as well. However, we should always wait for any official announcement regarding the shipment of the phones.
