A new photo is leaked online showing the upcoming LG Nexus 5 2015 model portraying the right side and the back of this handset. We can clearly see that LG has kept the minimalist design of this upcoming high end phone similar to that of its predecessor.
However, a few differences can be seen between both these smartphones – this phone looks noticeably thinner and has also got a fingerprint sensor below the camera bump. On the other hand, the Nexus logo is still present. The Power/ Lock and volume button on the side also look ceramic in a row. It’s still not confirmed whether this handset will sport a metal frame or not but there is a hint on its official name i.e. LG Nexus 5X.
Also, Google will unveil its LG Nexus 5 (2015) along with the Huawei Nexus 6 phablet on 29th September. The pre-orders for both these handsets will start on 13th October but we are not sure of its shipment.
LG’s new Nexus device will sport a 5.2 inch touchscreen display with 1080 pixels resolution. There is a 12.3 MP primary camera along with 5 MP front facing snapper to click some of the best pictures ever. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 chipset along with 3 GB RAM. There are 16 and 32 GB storage options which are supported by a 2,700 mAh battery backup.
