Just two days back we received a leak which revealed that HTC will release its upcoming One A9 or Aero phone on 29th September. Now, the reports reveal that a prototype of HTC One A9 was put through the GeekBench benchmark. This benchmark has revealed a couple of key features of this handset.
As per reports, the new phone of the Taiwanese giant will run on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will come powered by MediaTek’s Helio X20 chipset. This chipset comes with a deca-core processor. Out of these 10 cores, two are the Cortex A72 cores, which should perform a lot better than the Cortex A57s which is available with other high-end chipsets. The remaining eight cores will be Cortex A53, divided into two different clusters for maximum performance with minimum power drain.
This chipset will be aided by 4 GB RAM, which is the norm for any flagship offering now. It will get the support for LTE Cat.6 networks, with theoretical peak download speeds of 300 Mbps and 50 Mbps uploads. Helio X20 has outperformed every competitor in the multi-core benchmark having a score of 5884.
