We recently got a few leaked pictures revealing LG’s upcoming smartphone, LG Class. And now the reports reveal that some more images of this phone are leaked but these don’t give any phablet form factor. The first glimpse of the device in an official LG teaser brought us an interesting metal body and revealed this phone to stand as a mid-ranger device. Currently, another device is also being rendered from LG that comes with the mysterious model number H740 and was benchmarked last week.
We though LG Class also to be a mid-ranger but a new set of pictures popped up online telling a completely different story about the phone. The device is only a few hours away from unveiling and this news is confirmed officially also, but the phone might not be a phablet at all. These new stills about the phone look quite believable as they are coming from a reliable source and the depicted unit is features on LG’s banner.
On the other hand, if we believe the photos it also brings credibility of the accompanying specifications. As per reports, the LG Class will have a 5 inch display with 720 pixels resolution, instead of the 5.7 inch with 1080 pixels resolution. There are also some discrepancies in the chipset, as the new leak is cited to MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 SoC instead of a Snapdragon 615 one. However, LG still puts a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage with a microSD card slot.
There is a 13 MP primary snapper and an 8 MP of the front facing camera. So, if we believe in the new leaks the LG Class looks more promising as an entry-level phone rather than a mid-ranger. The phone will get 142 x 71.8 x 7.4 mm body which is metal based on the shots. However, this all should be cleared in today’s event of the Korean giant.
